Quality, Experience & Passion...
You really get what you pay for.
With more than 30 years of experience, we are uniquely qualified to provide you with the most artistic and structually sound decorative concrete installation available for your new concrete project.
Quality
From start to finish, we only use the highest quality products and techniques to insure you the highest quality job
Sub-base
This is one of the most important steps in the process. With the freeze and thaw cycles that we endure in New England, one must properly prepare the earth beneath the concrete.
We pride ourselves on providing a well excavated and compacted crushed stone base that will provide a safe cushion for you new concrete flatwork.
Rebar
This is a very important part of any concrete job. This is the skeleton of your new concrete and is what makes your concrete strong, making it last nearly forever.
Ainstalls 1/2" steel rebar as our primary reinforcement for all of our work
Fiber Mesh
Fiber Mesh is a hair like substance added to the concrete mix. This further strengthens the concrete by making the mix more solid. It also helps prevent any possible hairline cracks.
Note: Fiber is only a secondary reinforcement. If the other guys tell you that it's all they use....then it's because there just lazy and cutting corners on your project.
Color
While some companies prefer to use integral color in their concrete mix alone....it is because they are lazy and again cutting corners.
A superior stamp job requires both integral coloring and broadcast color hardeners. In New England you need to provide the most dense and durable surface as possible. You do this by using color hardener.
Control Joints
Some companies make their control joints asymmetrical with the concrete's pattern making the overall appearance unattractive. We have a special method of making our control joints parallel to the pattern. This insures the control joints do not sacrifice appearance.
Sealer
We only use the highest quality sealer. We also apply the sealer with a special sprayer versus a roller. This insures a nice even coat is applied and no roller marks are to be found. We can also make our stamped concrete nonslippery using our own special materials and methods.
